What’s Your T-Shirt Size? Due by 4/10/2017

God bless you Pastors and Church Leaders

I am excited to see each and every one of you at our upcoming June Convocation, in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Not only will this be our annual opportunity to fellowship and reunite, but it will also mark the end of the ten-month weight loss challenge, which we began in August 2016. As you read further, I’d like to share some updates around the events which have been planned for you under the leadership of the national nurses unit, extend an opportunity for you to serve, and a way that everyone will be able to contribute to furthering this work.

10-Month Weight Loss Challenge

As a continuation, we will have a special opportunity for you, the original participants of the challenge, to share your successes and what you have learned over the last 10 months. We also need your T-shirt size. Please email your desired sizing to the address listed below. Or, reply to this post by clicking “COMMENT” below this post!

An opportunity to serve

Are you a registered nurse, nurse’s assistant, or someone interested in providing medical programs and awareness at your church? We would love to connect with you! The national nurses team has years of experience along with some common practices which should be at operation in your church. We would love to accept workers who are as young as seven years of age, all the way up to our most seasoned members!

Get involved. Let’s grow together!

If you are not able to directly serve in the capacity of a nurse or medical personnel for your church, you may have some great ideas that you would like to share. Please take a moment and give us feedback on how we currently work in your church. Is it going good, or is it not so good? We can only get better when we become aware through your feedback.

SHARE! – Take this note to your church administrator or announcements team. Share it with your church family!

Looking Forward in 2017

Dear Saints:

“For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations.” (Ps. 100:5) Praise the Lord to all Original Church of God saints. God has brought into the a New Year, and we are grateful for all he has done for us.

We want to thank each pastor and congregation for your steadfast love and support during our first year of service. Additionally, we have been blessed by the diligent and capable ministry of our national officials. This body could not accomplish anything meaningful without your hard work. Thank you! However, we still believe God has much more for us to do. So, let’s not be weary in well doing, for we shall reap if we do not faint.

We believe 2017 is a great time for the church to glorify God. Our world is experiencing troubles of enormous proportions; economically, politically and relationally. The church possesses the only answer for all the problems of this world. Consequently, we must be a powerful, Spirit-Led Church that is Unified, Energized and Multiplied. Our prayer is that we will make an impact in the earth as we walk together by the power of the Holy Spirit. Happy New Year!

In His Service,

Bishop Warren E. Boyd

Assistant Bishop Ayuba Maigari

Before We Are Political, We Are Biblical

Father, we ask that you help us recognize that we are one of many churches who are praying for your divine direction for the nation in which we live. We don’t assume that just because we have ears to hear, that we will listen. Touch us and allow us to hear you, have an ear to hear, and a heart to respond.

We pray that each person in our fold exercise their right to have a voice in what we believe in your holy Word, at the polls. If we are your Light, darkness cannot prevail.

Lord, help us not be politically correct, but rather to be always biblically correct. So, on November 8th…do it once again…show us your glory! -Amen
